Day 17: Argumentative vs. Problem-Solution (Day 2)

Just a quick reminder to everyone, your paper:

1.    Must not be the topic of your Master’s thesis or your dissertation;

2.    Must be--ideally--related to your field;

3.    Must be written for a general audience, not an expert or technical audience;

4.    The research paper you write for ESL 501 must be written expressly for this class, and must not be a paper you've written previously, as this goes against university policy. Please review the university's student's code once again (Page 15--Part 4, Academic Integrity).

This PowerPoint will give you a better idea of what is expected from you in this part of our course.
